On 9 August ‘07, at the “Marina Bay Floating Platform”, the skyline was beautifully brighten up by “dancing stars”. This was a never-before special performance around the world, presented by GoFlyKite.com Pte Ltd, with a team of 25 Singapore Night Flyers and 17 carefully selected army soldiers from the Singapore Armed Forces, who are specially trained by Singapore GoFlyKite.com Trainers. 42 remote controlled, LED lighted kites were flown at Marina Bay to celebrate Singapore’s 42nd year of Independence. These 42 kites were specially designed and produced in Singapore to commemorate its birthday. These kites were  called SB-42 (Singapore Birthday 42 years) and has been recognized by the Singapore Tourism Board as a “Uniquely Singapore” product. Flying these 42 kites together on that special occasion, GoFlyKite.com Pte Ltd got themselves a place in the Singapore Book of Records, for the Most Number of Remote Controlled Kites Flying At Night.
